It's difficult seeing someone we love suffer, however, it's important to remind ourselves, that no matter the circumstances, GOD is GOOD ALL THE TIME!
In the midst of our pain and suffering, we MUST continue to Pray to Him, Worship Him, and Praise his HOLY name.
We must never fail to acknowledge that “He [God] is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He," (Deuteronomy 32:3-5 NKJV) knowing that, according to Psalm 145:17, "The LORD is righteous in ALL His ways, [and] Gracious in all His works."
The book of James advises us of our individual and collective roles when one among us is ill or suffering, which comes in many shapes, sizes, forms and by many means. I praise God for providing his divine direction in addressing these matters. James 5:13 – 15 states, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray...Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
James 5: 16 admonishes the ill and/or suffering (this applies all of us), to "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." This verse does not imply that healing will be instantaneous, but it continues on to plainly state that it is "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." NOTE THAT WE MUST ALL PURSUE RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Take comfort in knowing that after we have done what the Lord has called us to do (regardless of the physical outcome), God cares for us. We must keep our thinking in the proper perspective by reminding ourselves that "...[His] thoughts are not [our] thoughts, nor are [our] ways [His] ways, [...] for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are [His] ways higher than [our] ways, and [His] thoughts than [our] thoughts."
REMEMBER ALWAYS!!! “The Lord IS righteous in ALL His ways!” Psalm 145:17
Be Blesses ALWAYS in the Mighty and Magnificent name of Jesus I Pray! HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!
